Text Box: Frankie Valli and The 4 Seasons UK Enthusiasts and Historical Society Newsletter
Text Box: Here we are again with a slightly different layout but a Newsletter packed with the usual ‘old’ articles and our latest research plus some clips from t’Internet. I’ve been able to see Jersey Boys twice and the performance this August was as impeccable as ever and very enjoyable and NYC was hot..hot...hot.
This time we feature the 1968 releases by the group and Frankie Valli solo backed up with articles from that year
Jean Thomas was kind enough to tell us her story and we present Part 1 which covers her early 60’s work in NYC as a solo artist and demo singer before she met with Bob Crewe and became lead singer of The Rag Dolls…...W’ell be featuring a sample track of Text Box: her first single at our web-site( http://www.seasonally.co.uk./ ). We also managed to get an internet interview with Charles Calello and his views on Jersey Boys and the impact of the musical recognition of the Four Season as a result of its success.
The success of ‘Jersey Boys’ at the Tony Awards is featured with comment from some highly respected ‘Four Seasons’ people.
And of course we have the latest in our ‘Seasons’ Connections and the stories behind the tracks. We hope you enjoy the content…..The Editor— Special thanks to the http.www.genuine-imitation-life-gazette.com site for the use of articles
